Andhra Hydroelectric Project
The name of the hydroelectric power project is Andhra Hydroelectric Project. The power plant is commissioned in between the years, 1987 to 1988. The approved and installed capacity of this hydroelectric power plant is 16.95 Megawatt. The type of project is small, since the generation capacity is less than 25 Megawatt. There are three units in Operation and they are having a capacity of 5.65 Megawatt each. All the units are commissioned between the years, 1987 - 1988.

Transport Buses are available regularly from the nearby cities to the power station. Shimla Railway Station is the nearest well-connected railway station having trains running between major cities of the country. Shimla Railway station is about 125 km away from the Andhra Hydro Project. Shimla Airport is the nearest airport. It is situated at around 143 kilometres away from Chirgaon town of Himachal Pradesh.
