Chibro Hydroelectric Power Plant
Chibro Hydroelectric Power Plant is erected in the Tons River in the Ichari town of Dehradun district in Uttarakhand. The first unit of power plant is commissioned in 1975. The total installed capacity of the power plant is 240 MW. The hydroelectric Basin of Power plant is Ganga Basin. The type of project is Major; due to its capacity is more than 25 MW. The type of plant is dam with a Reservoir, which is a part of Yamuna Hydel System. The name of the dam, where the project is erected is Ichari Dam and the type of dam is Concrete made Gravity Dam.
