Gaj Hydroelectric Project
Gaj Power House Himachal Pradesh is erected at the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is commissioned in 1996 with an approved and installed capacity of 10.5 MW. The type of the project is Small since it is between the range of 3 MW and 25 MW. The hydroelectric status of the power plant is completed and is currently Running. The water source of the power plant is GajKhad and the basin is Indus River. The hydroelectric region of the power station is North Hydroelectric Region. The power project is owned and operated by the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board, which is a State Government undertaking.
The beneficiary states of this hydroelectric power station are North Indian states. The completion of the power project was in 1996 and soon the power project started its commercial operation.
