Ganderbal Hydroelectric Project

Ganderbal Hydroelectric Project is commissioned in 1961. It has an installed and approved capacity of 15 Megawatt. The Type of Project is Small, since the capacity is between 3 Megawatt and 25 Megawatt. The status of power plant is completed and are Operational. The source of water for the generation of power is Sindh Nallah, which is a tributary of Jhelum and the basin is Jhelum River. The power station is located at North Hydroelectric Region.
