Indira Sagar Hydroelectric Project is erected at the Narmada River of Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh. It is commissioned in 2004 with an approved capacity of 1000 MW. The project type is Major, since its capacity is greater than 25 MW. The Status of Power Plant is Operational. The source of water for the hydroelectric power project is from Narmada River.
