Jorethang Loop Hydroelectric Project

Jorethang Loop Hydroelectric Project is erected in the Jorethang Barrage dam in Jorethang Town of Sikkim in India. The power project is commissioned in 2015 with an approved and installed capacity of 96 MW. The type of hydroelectric project is Major as its capacity is greater than 25 MW. The status of power plant is completed and is Operational. The project is erected in the Eastern Hydroelectric Region of India. The water source for the generation of power is from the Rangit River.
