Kadra Hydro Power Plant
The first unit of Kadra Hydro Power Plant is commissioned in 1997 with an installed capacity of 50 MW. After that the second and third units are commissioned consecutively in 1999 itself with an installed capacity of 50 Megawatt for each units. So the power plant has a total installed capacity of 150 Megawatt and the type of project is Major, since the size is greater than 25 Megawatt. The Status of the power plant is Operational and the water source is from Kalinadi River. The basin of the power station is west flowing rivers coming from Tapi to Tadri. The Southern Hydroelectric Region is its location.
