Khopoli Hydroelectric Project

Khopoli Hydroelectric Project is erected in the Khopoli town of Raigad district in the state of Maharashtra in India. The power project is commissioned in 1915. It has an approved capacity of 72 Megawatt of power. The type of hydroelectric project is Major as its capacity is greater than 25 Megawatt. The kind of power plant is Dam on river with reservoir. The current status of power plant is Functional. The main reservoir of power project is Walwhan Lake. The power station is erected at the Western Hydroelectric Region of the country.
