List of Army Operations in India

1. Operation Polo (1948): Indian armed forces ended the rule of the Nizam of Hyderabad and led to the incorporation of the princely state of Hyderabad into the Indian Union.

2. Operation Vijay (1960): Operation that led to the capture of Goa, Daman and Diu and Anjediva island from the Portuguese colonial holding.
