Rajghat Hydroelectric Project
Rajghat Hydro Power Station is erected in the Betwa River near Chanderi in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. The power station is first commissioned in 1999. It has an installed and approved capacity of 45 MW. The Project falls under the category of Major, since its capacity is greater than 25 MW. The status of power plant is operational. The source of water for the generation of current is Betwa River. The hydroelectric basin is Ganga Basin. The power plant is located in the Northern Hydroelectric Region of India.

This power station is accessible via Road, Rail or Air. Frequent transport buses and taxi services are available from the Ashok Nagar district of Madhya Pradesh (53 kilometres) and the Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh (39 kilometres) to Chanderi (nearer to Power Station) in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India.
