Rampur Hydro Power Station

Rampur Hydroelectric Power Station is erected at the Rampur town of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is commissioned in 2014. The approved capacity of power plant is 412.02 MW. The type of project is Major (greater than 25 Megawatt). The plant is built on the water discharged from another project. The status of power plant is Operational. The source of water is Satluj River and the basin is Indus River. The plant is erected at the North Hydroelectric Region.
