Ratnagiri III Dabhol Power Project

Ratnagiri III Dabhol Power Project is erected in Maharashtra. The place can be located at Navanagar, which is an industrial place in Ratanagiri District, Maharashtra, India. The total installed capacity of the plant is 740 MWe.

This is a combined cycle gas turbine power plant. Natural gas and naphtha are used as the primary and secondary fuels in this plant. The gas supply required for 90%PLF is 3.56 and the linkage is 1.5. This is a fully operating plant and Seawater is served as the main source of water for the plant. Imported and Reliance KG fields are the main source of fuel and the fuel is transported through Dahej-Hazira-Panvel-Dabhol pipeline.

The plant has three different units. The first two units has an installed capacity of 240 MWe while the third unit has an installed capacity of 260 MWe. All the three units are commissioned on 28-October-2007. GE USA is the turbine and generator manufacturer and Kawasaki is the boiler manufacturer. The turbine models used in different units are Gas Turbine -1 9001FA (unit 1), Gas Turbine -2 9001FA (unit 2) and Steam Turbine -1 (unit 3). Ratnagiri Gas and Power Limited is the owner of the plant and Enron Engineering & Construction is the construction contractor of the plant. Ratnagiri Gas and Power Limited is the operating company of the plant.
