Sai Lilagar Power Generation Limited
Sai Lilagar Power Generation Limited is an 86-megawatt coal-fuelled power plant owned and controlled by the KSK Energy Ventures. The power plant is located in the area adjacent to the premises of Lafarge India Private Limited cement plant at the village of Gondadih in the district of Janjgir-Champa of Chhattisgarh. The environmental clearance for this project is hereby accorded subject to implementation and its terms and conditions are approved by the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board.
The Sai Lilagar Power Generation Limited made a coal supply agreement with SECL (South Eastern Coalfields Limited) for the supply of fuel to the power plant for the generation of power. The operation and control of the Sai Lilagar Power Generation Limited is managed through agreements by certain contractors with the help of its parent.
The first unit has the capacity of 43 Megawatt, which started its working in 2008. The second unit was commissioned during the earlier months of year 2011. They made long term, power purchase agreement with local service (formerly with Lafarge India).
The Sai Lilagar Power Generation Limited was commissioned in 2008. It has an approved capacity of 86 Megawatt. The installed capacity is also 86 Megawatt. There are two units in operation. They are Unit 1 and Unit 2. The Unit 1 is commissioned in 2008 with an installed capacity of 43 Megawatt. After that the second unit is commissioned in 2011 with an installed capacity of 43 Megawatt.
