Sardar Sarovar Hydroelectric Project

Sardar Sarovar Power House has two projects and they are Sardar Sarovar Canal Head Hydroelectric Power Station and Sardar Sarovar Dam Hydroelectric Power Station. Each of the projects are commissioned in 2004 and 2005 respectively. It has a combined total installed capacity of 1450 MW. The main reservoir of the plant is Sardar Sarovar Reservoir and the name of dam is Sardar Sarovar Dam. The type of Project is Major. The Status of the power plant is Operational.
