Sitapuram Power Limited

Sitapuram Power Limited was established in 2006 with around 100 Employees and are the service provider of various Power Production Services, Power Conduction Services, Power Supply Services, Electric Power Production, and Power Generation Solution.

This is a coal fired power plant with the capability of generating 43 Megawatt of power. The power plant is located in the Dondapadu Road of Mellacheruvu Mandal in Nalgonda District. The power plant was commissioned in March 2008.

Sitapuram Power Company Ltd entered into a longstanding Agreement called PPA with Zuari Cement Company Ltd and Sri Vishnu Cements Company Ltd (Sri Vishnu Cements to source Power to its cement industrial facilities situated at Dondapadu in Telangana).

The Fuel Supply of Sitapuram Power Limited uses coal as its chief fuel and has entered into a coal supply contract with Singareni Collieries Company Limited (otherwise called as SCCL).

Sitapuram Power Limited controls processes and repairs through select contractors and has been undergoing steadily high PLF, excepting specific extraordinary years on account of external factors.

Sitapuram Power Limited is commissioned in the month of March in 2008. The approved capacity of this thermal power plant is 43 Megawatt. The installed capacity of this thermal power plant is also 43 Megawatt. The status of this power generating plant is Operational. The source of coal for the production of power is from Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). The primary fuel for the generation of power is coal. The owner of this thermal plant is KSK Energy Ventures Limited. The beneficiary states of this thermal power plant are Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and its neighbouring states. The unit size of this thermal plant is 1 Unit x 43 Megawatt. There are one unit in operation and it is Unit 1. The Unit 1 is commissioned in the month of March in 2008 with an installed capacity of 43 Megawatt.

You can get car, bus or train from the nearest towns or cities to the Sitapuram Power Station. Transport Buses and taxi services are available from the nearby cities or town to the power station. Sitapuram railway station is the nearest Railway Station. But you want to go to Nalgonda Railway Station, since it is a well-connected railway. You would get trains that are passing through all parts of the country from Nalgonda. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is the nearest Airport from Sitapuram, which is about 120 kilometers away from Power Station.
