Teesta Low Dam iv Hydroelectric Project is erected in the Teesta river of Kalijhora town in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal in India. The power project is commissioned in 2013 with an approved and installed capacity of 160 MW. The project type is Major due to its capacity greater than 25 MW. The type of plant is Dam having run of river generation. The power plant is utilized for the generation of Intermediate/ Peak Load. The configurations of power house are One Surface power house. The status of the power project is Operational. The source of water for the generation of electric power is Teesta River. The name of the Dam, where the power plant is erected is Teesta Low Dam-IV and the type of Dam is Concrete Gravity Dam (Roller Compacted Concrete Dam). The power plant is situated in the Eastern Hydroelectric Region of the country.

The power plant is owned by Central Government and the operator of the plant is National Hydroelectric Power Corporation of India. The beneficiary states of the power project are West Bengal and its neighboring states. The power project is completed in 2013. The number of turbines in the power house is four and capacity of each turbine is 40 MW. The unit size of the plant is 160 MW having four units of 40 MW each. There are four units and all are commissioned. The commissioned year is 2013.
