Tillari Hydro Power Station

Tillari Hydro Power Station is erected in the Kharani Nallah River of Vijghar town in the Kolhapur District of Maharashtra. The power station is commissioned in 1986. It has an approved and installed capacity of 60 MW. The type of project is Major as its capacity is more than 25 MW. The name of Dam, where the power station is located is Tillari Main Dam. The status of power plant is Operational. The river on which the Tillari power plant is located is Kharani Nallah. The power project is sited at the Western Hydroelectric region of the country.

The power plant is owned by State Government and the operating company is Water Resources Department of Government of Maharashtra (WRD GOM).
