Utran II Gas Based CCPP

The plant has two different units. Both the units are commissioned on 10-October-2009. The first and second plants have an installed capacity of 228 and 147 MWe respectively. Alsthom Power is the generator and turbine manufacturing company of the plant. The turbine models used here are: Gas Turbine-1 GT26B2 and Steam Turbine-1 STF15C (for units 1and 2 respectively). Alsthom Power is the boiler manufacturer and 3-pressure reheat, horizontal is the boiler model used here. This is a state government ownership power plant and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd. (GSECL) is the owner of the plant. Alstom is the construction contractor and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd. is the operating company of the plant.
