1. Red Fort Delhi Timings with History

The legendary, Shah Jahan was the Mughal ruler who started and finished the construction of the classic Red Fort of Delhi in AD 1639. It is one of the top tourist places in Delhi. 3. Khas Mahal: Khas Mahal is the emperor’s palace also known as private house. It consists of three parts. One is Tasbih-Khana, which is a set of 3 rooms facing towards Diwan-i-Khas and was used for private worship by the emperor. And the other is the Khwabgah which is sleeping chamber consisting of 3 rooms and the last one is the Baithak which is used as sitting room.

4. Diwan-i Khas: The Diwan-i-Khas otherwise known as the “hall of private audience” which consists of a rectangular central chamber which was bounded by passageway of arches rising from piers.

5. Rang Mahal of Mumtaz Mahal: The Rang Mahal is a part of the zenana which is called as the women's residence in the palace. The zenana includes 5 pavilions lined up along the banks of the Yamuna river. It was the chief resort for the mughal royal women.

The art work in Lal Quila is a combination of Indian, European and the Persian arts which joint together to form the expansion of sole Shahjahani style of Art. Red Fort has mainly 2 gates, of which one is Lahore Gate (For Exit) and other is Delhi Gate (For Entry).

2. Qutub Minar Delhi Timings with History

Qutub Minar is a well-known mosque in Delhi and has the credit of tallest brick minaret of world. The height of the mosque is estimated as 234 feet long from ground level to the top of the minaret making it the highest unique tower among other towers in the world. It is one of the top tourist places in India. The visit hour timings are given below. History says that Qutb-ud-din Aibak, who ordered the commands for building this minaret in 1193. He is also the first Indian Muslim to order the instruction for building the mosque. But it was the Firuz Shah Tughluq, who completed the construction of uppermost storey of this minaret. Qutub Minar was built in revelry of Muhammad Ghori’s victory over Rajputs.

Qutub Minar has been constructed in red sandstone and has writings of stanza from the Holy Book Quran. It is one of the first and most prominent examples of Indo-Islamic architecture. Qutub Minar is situated in Qutub Complex which is a big area contain several ancient and antique structures.

3. Mughal Gardens Delhi with Timings

Mughal Gardens is one among the most popular gardens in delhi, which has spreaded over more than thirteen acres of land. The garden is situated near to Rashtrapati Bhawan (also known as President Hose). It is divided into 3 parts, with lengthy, rectangular and circular shaped sections. History says that,it was firstly designed by Sir Edwin Lutynes for Lady Harding in Delhi. It is also one of the first and most prominent examples of British Garden concept mixed with Mughal Style.

4. Iskcon Temple Delhi with Timings

Iskcon Temple is located in Hari Krishna hills in Sant Nagar, which is east of Kailash. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is also one of the most plentiful and big shrine in Delhi constructed recently in 1998. The art work in Iskcon Temple is a mixture of modern Indian and Russian arts which joint together to form a typical Indo-Russian architectural style. This well-known temple has “Shikharas” that rise up to ninety feet above the ground level. On all Sunday afternoon, special orations and prayers are performed in this holy place.

A museum is also to be found in the interior of the holy place where one can study the philosophy of epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata with the assist of multimedia equipments. 5. National Railway Museum Delhi Timings with History

The National Rail Museum of Delhi is situated in Chanakyapuri. This place is a main attraction for train lovers, since several models of old train engines and coaches displayed in this museum. According to history, the first passenger train was started between Bombay and Thane and it covered its journey from Bombay to Thane in 1853 during British Era. Steam Engine was used for this train and this steam engine was now showcased in the museum.

The Fairy Queen locomotive is still recognized as the finest preserved steam engine of this period. There is also a small rail track travel is available for children in the museum.
