KSK Energy Ventures Limited is a power generation unit in India with a reputation of managing and operating the power plants. The KSK Energy Ventures distributes power for industrial purposes and also for the domestic consumers of states. Also KSK Energy Ventures Limited is focussing in Power Generation, Power Transmission and Power Distribution. KSK Energy has operational power plants capable of producing 2062 Megawatt of power.
Operational power plants
Arasmeta Power Plant otherwise called as Sai Lilagar Power Generation Limited is erected at the Arasmeta village in the Janjgir-Champa district in the state of Chhattisgarh. The installed capacity of this coal fired thermal power plant is 86 Megawatt. There are 2 units in operation. They are first and second units with 43 Megawatt for each units.The power plant is commissioned in 2008.
Sai Regency Power Plant is a natural gas fired power plant located at Kalugrani village in the district of Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu. The power plant has an installed capacity of 58 Megawatt. The power plant is commissioned in September 2007.
VS Lignite Power Plant, is a lignite fuelled power plant erected at the Gurha village of Bikaner district in Rajasthan. The power plant has an installed capacity of 135 Megawatt and the first unit of power plant was commissioned in March 31, 2010.
Wardha Warora Thermal Power Plant is a coal fuelled power project located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. It has an installed capacity of 540 Megawatt. There are 4 units in Operation. They are from Unit 1 to Unit 4 with each unit having 135 Megawatt and the power plants are commissioned during the period in between 2010 and 2011.
In KSK Mahanadi Power Project, 3 out of 6 units are operational. The power plant is located in Nariyara in Akaltara, Janjgir-Champa of Chhattisgarh. The total installed capacity of thermal power plant is 3600 Megawatt (6 X 600 MW). The first unit of power plant was commissioned in 2013.
Sitapuram Power Company Limited is located in the Dondapadu Road of Mellacheruvu Taluk of Nalgonda in Telangana. It has an installed capacity of 43 Megawatt andits unit was commissioned in March 2008.
Power plants under construction
KSK Mahanadi Power station located in Chhattisgarh, is a 3600 Megawatt (6 units x 600 Megawatt) coal fired power plant in the state, Chhattisgarh in India. The first unit has an installed capacity of 600 Megawatt and it was commissioned in the month of May in 2013. The second unit was commissioned in August 2014 and the third unit was in January 2018. Currently this power plant is under construction for expansion.
